Gratefulness to the Teacher.

There are three main ways to fulfill the wishes of the teacher.

"From those the best way is to put his instruction into practice and spend your whole life experiencing the essence of the teachings, see the teaching in each experience and attaining realization.

The second best way is to serve him with devoted body speech and mind. As you serve your teacher, your being will be transformed by his-her readily apparent qualities, just as a piece of ordinary sandalwood grove will gradually be permeated by the scent of the surrounding trees!

The third way to please the teacher is to make material offerings to him." Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

The last one can be translated in clinging action but is this only in dual view: my mind is here, teacher is there. This is not meant. By offering there is humbly connection and "me-teacher-offering"- concepts are fading.
